UV Syenite Pendant – Handcrafted Sterling Silver | Ben & Bryant Collection

$454.00

At first glance, it looks like a quiet gray stone, but under ultraviolet light, this syenite comes alive. Ben cut this cabochon to showcase the intricate speckled mineral pattern, a natural mosaic of crystals that hides a surprising secret: certain minerals within the stone fluoresce brilliantly under UV light, revealing colors invisible in ordinary daylight.

Syenite is an intrusive igneous rock formed when magma cools slowly deep underground, allowing large mineral crystals to develop. In certain deposits, trace minerals fluoresce under ultraviolet light, creating the dramatic glow that makes this material so unique.

The stone is set in solid .925 sterling silver, hand-crafted in Texas by geologist and lapidary artist Ben Davis with master silversmith Randy Bryant. Randy framed the stone in hand-textured silver with bold riveted accents, giving the pendant a rugged, geological feel that complements the raw beauty of the syenite.

Each piece in the Ben & Bryant Collection celebrates geology, craftsmanship, and the beauty of natural stone.
