Larimar ~ Summer Stone!
Have you heard of Larimar? It's a rare stone discovered in the Dominican Republic back in 1974 by a local named Miguel Mendez. He named it after his daughter, Larissa, and the Spanish word for sea - Lari-Mar. Interestingly, Larimar is a type of pectolite that typically appears in white or gray, but it's only in the Dominican Republic where the presence of copper gives it a beautiful blue hue. The quality of Larimar varies depending on how blue and pure it is, with the highest grades being the most desirable. It's a perfect choice for weddings (something blue!), beach enthusiasts, or anyone seeking a sense of calm and tranquility.
