Kenyan Tabu (Taba) Jasper Pendant in Sterling Silver
A striking example of brecciated beauty, this one-of-a-kind Kenyan Tabu (also called Taba) Jasper pendant showcases bold burnt orange (our favorite color), charcoal black, and cream mineral veining formed through natural fracturing and mineral replacement over time. The dramatic patterns resemble aerial landscapes, lava fields, or abstract topographic maps - ben likes to call it forest fire jasper.
Often sold under several trade names, Tabu/Taba Jasper is prized for its vivid color contrast and complex natural patterning. The stone’s fractured appearance is the result of ancient geologic processes, where broken material was naturally cemented and infused with silica-rich minerals, creating the intricate webbing and scenic movement seen throughout the stone.
Hand cut and polished by Ben, then set in sterling silver to highlight the natural artistry of the material.
One of a kind.
In the metaphysical world, jasper is often associated with grounding, resilience, and stability.
