Pietersite Inlay Necklace. Pietersite was named after Sid Pieters who made the initial discovery in Namibia in 1962. Peitersite is an aggregate of blue and gold tigers eye, made up of quartz crystals replacing the fiberous minal crocidolite and keeping the original shape, i.e. a psuedomorph. Famous for its deep electric blue chatoyancy and it's difficulty to get, it is a true gem stone.
