Old Stock Nevada Turquoise Teardrop Pendant – Sterling Silver | Ben Davis

$88.00

Pendant is 1" x 1/2”  or 3 cm x 1 cm

Own history! This turquoise came from the collection of a retired Nevada miner, making it genuine old-stock material that is becoming increasingly difficult to find today.

Old-stock Nevada turquoise forms when copper-rich groundwater moves through porous rock, slowly depositing the mineral in fractures and pockets. Over millions of years, this process produces the beautiful blue-green color seen in this stone. A natural mineral vein crosses the turquoise, creating a striking contrast that highlights the stone’s natural formation and gives the pendant a landscape-like character.

The cabochon was carefully cut and polished by lapidary artist Ben Davis, who shaped the stone into an elegant teardrop that emphasizes both the color and the natural vein running through the turquoise. The stone is set in solid .925 sterling silver, creating a clean, timeless pendant that keeps the turquoise as the focal point.

This material comes from old stock Nevada turquoise, sourced from a retired miner’s collection — a supply that is becoming increasingly rare today.
