Malachite Pendant with Organic Melted Silver Edge – Sterling Silver | Ben & Bryant Collection

$360.00

It looks like a river of deep green flowing through stone. Ben cut this Malachite cabochon to highlight the sweeping bands and dark veins that move across the surface like currents in water, creating a dramatic landscape of layered mineral color. Ben loves working with Malachite. It's formed when copper-rich groundwater reacts with limestone in the oxidized zones of copper deposits. The mineral grows in layered bands, creating the swirling green patterns that make malachite one of the most recognizable copper minerals in the world.

The stone is set in solid .925 sterling silver, hand-crafted in Texas by geologist and lapidary artist Ben Davis with master silversmith Randy Bryant. Randy formed the surrounding silver using his distinctive melted-edge technique, creating an organic frame that feels almost like molten metal.

Each piece in the Ben & Bryant Collection celebrates geology, craftsmanship, and the beauty of natural stone.
