Smaragdite

Our one and only pendant of this really cool mineral.  Derived from Ancient Greek  word smaragdos, meaning  emerald. This mineral is an emerald green variety  of amphibole with minor amount of chromium, giving it the green. This mineral is typically is hosted in eclogites or some gabbros. It is found in Habach Valley, Salzburg, Austria and through various location in Europe. Truly a geological collectible!
