Red Tiger's Eye

Red Tiger’s Eye – A lesser-known and more rare version of the famous gold mineral. Tiger’s eye is known for it chatoyant, French "œil de chat", meaning "cat's eye", chatoyancy arises either from the fibrous structure of a material, as in tiger's eye quartz, or from fibrous inclusions or cavities within the stone. I learned about red tiger’s eye from a bucket in the back of a friend’s backyard, found a few slabs his late grandfather collected.
