Long Maligano Jasper

Named for a small village in Sulawesi, Indonesia in SE Asia, this material was found only in the last decade and is making it's way onto the world scene. This jasper forms in ancient volcanic hot springs. It is known for contrasting warm colors of blues, greys, oranges mixed with fantastic broken and healed rock (breccias); overlain with dendrite or river-like patterns.
