True White Buffalo Turquoise (there is A LOT of dyed howlite imitations out there), is a  beautiful stone that is not actually a turquoise but was so named because of the family and location! The White Buffalo stone originates from the Tonopah Nevada area found in the same general veins as Dry Creek turquoise but has no copper content. It is a mostly clean white calcite/quartz mix with black chert inclusions. The better stones have clear delineations of black and white. The bracelet for this set is a clasp with varying loops and therefore adjustable! The bale of the pendant is has a white buffalo inlay!
