Tiger Iron Landscape Sterling Silver Pendant | Ben & Bryant Collection
Tiger Iron is one of the most fascinating composite stones found in nature. It formed in Precambrian iron-rich sediments, where layers of silica and iron oxides slowly compressed and transformed over billions of years. The result is a striking natural fusion of tiger’s eye, hematite, and jasper, each contributing its own color and structure to the distinctive banding pattern.
Ben Davis carefully cut this cabochon to showcase the natural flow of the banding, creating the feeling of a miniature landscape within the stone. Randy Bryant then crafted the custom sterling silver setting to frame the cabochon with an organic, textured edge that echoes the rugged feel of natural rock formations.
Sourced from Western Australia, Tiger Iron is prized for both its durability and dramatic natural patterns.
