Mookaite, scientifically referred to as Mookaite Jasper, is a silicified porcellanite sometimes known to be fossiliferous. This mineral can only be found in the Windalia Radiolarite, a Western Australian formation believed to have originated during the Cretaceous Period (145-66 million years ago).
